Very often happen to be inside a corporate network, or a school and not be able to connect to an external service because the company policy does not provide that maybe you can connect to certain services (such as Skype, MSN, ICQ, IRC, etc. ...).
Using SSH you can create a real encrypted tunnel from your computer to an external SSH server, which will act as a bridge with the service to which we connect.
